Palliative Care: What Is It? How Can It Help?
Karen Marioneaux, MSW – Palliative Care Social Worker, Palliative Care of Baton Rouge
My name is Karen Marioneaux, MSW, and I am a Palliative Care Social Worker. I received my Bachelors of Science in Social Work in 2015 and received my Master’s degree in 2016. I have worked with a local hospice agency since graduating and assisted with implementing their Palliative Care program in 2018. I assist patients with discussions on Palliative Care and hospice and provide resources as needed. I look forward to discussing my knowledge of Palliative Care with you.
