Session 1: Money Matters for Caregivers by a Caregiver
Kim Chapman, Financial Literacy Coordinator, Neighbors Federal Credit Union
No one “gets it” like a fellow caregiver. Kim Chapman, a financial education specialist and former caregiver, presents on the monetary aspects of a caregiver’s journey.
As the Financial Wellness Director for Neighbors Federal Credit Union, Kimberly Chapman has led the charge of NFCU’s mission to provide financial education to the members of the communities that we serve.
As a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor, she has over 26 years of experience in the financial field, in which she served in her current capacity for the past 7 years. She has successfully produced results as a Loan Analyst/Underwriter and Account Services Officer.

Session 2: Protect your Family: Elder Fraud and Identity Theft Tips
Bennett Blackledge
Bennett began his Banking Career 42 years ago. Bennett is a veteran at helping people plan and execute their personal or business plans while optimizing their credit score. He understands the impact of credit on their daily lives and has spent most of his career assisting individuals and businesses out of debt and into Financial Wellness. Currently, Bennett runs a nonprofit that focuses on Financial Freedom. His latest project is assisting prisoners in a work release program to re-enter society through a series of Financial Wellness classes called Financial Life Skills: The Fundamentals. Bennett spends a great deal of his day in schools, prisons, churches and with Non-Profits throughout the community.

Session 3: Using “Five Wishes”: How to Discuss and Document Your Preferences
Janette Roulston, RN, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner/Operator of Hospice in His Care
Caregivers know how many difficult decisions there are to make when it comes to end-of-life planning. Have you documented your own preferences? This presentation dives into the resource guide “Five Wishes,” explained by a Registered Nurse and Hospice Owner/Operator.
Janette is a Registered Nurse who has ministered to the needs of patients during a span of forty seven (47) years in various fields of nursing. Ms. Roulston is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner/Operator of Hospice in His Care, a local hospice headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. She co-founded the hospice 18 years ago as a ministry of comfort and hope serving a 50 mile radius of Baton Rouge. Ms. Roulston is always honored to have the opportunity to share her passion for the ministry of hospice.
Personally, she has been married to her husband Gary Roulston for 52 years and is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and five amazing grandchildren.
