Aging and Cognitive Changes – What’s Normal and What’s Not
Matthew Estrade
Losing eyeglasses, forgetting names, and getting lost while driving. Are these normal occurrences as we get older, or should we be concerned about having a memory/cognitive impairment? Join us on April 16th as Matthew Estrade will discuss normal brain aging, abnormal brain aging, and the next steps if you observe the warning signs of dementia.
Matthew Estrade has been active in the aging field for 15 years, educating caregivers, facilitating support groups, and managing Federal projects helping older adults. In 2019, he published “The Peace with Dementia Rosary: Education, Intentions, Community,” and he has an extensive list of free articles, videos, and podcasts online. Matthew earned a Master’s in Gerontology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
