Session 3: Using “Five Wishes”: How to Discuss and Document Your Preferences

Janette Roulston, RN, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner/Operator of Hospice in His Care

Caregivers know how many difficult decisions there are to make when it comes to end-of-life planning. Have you documented your own preferences? This presentation dives into the resource guide “Five Wishes,” explained by a Registered Nurse and Hospice Owner/Operator.

Janette  is a Registered Nurse who has ministered to the needs of patients during a span of forty seven (47) years in various fields of nursing. Ms. Roulston is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner/Operator of Hospice in His Care, a local hospice headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. She co-founded the hospice 18 years ago as a ministry of comfort and hope serving a 50 mile radius of Baton Rouge. Ms. Roulston is always honored to have the opportunity to share her passion for the ministry of hospice.

Personally, she has been married to her husband Gary Roulston for 52 years and is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and five amazing grandchildren.
